Hi, I'm Jordan Deodato

I started a growth marketing consultancy 9 months ago. The company is just me for now, with the plan of adding 1 or 2 heads this year. I work across a variety of clients in an outsourced VP of Growth role, which means:

​

• Working directly with founders or the exec team to develop and plan out growth marketing strategies and budgets. 

​

• Overseeing customer acquisition channels, as well as agencies and in-house folks that manage these channels. 

​

• Owning growth goals, i.e. CPA, ROI, total conversions.


• Depending on the needs of the business, I have fully managed channels, specifically FB Ads Manager, Google Adwords, and Impact Radius for affiliates. Working directly in those tools day to day.

• Having a seat at the table with the Creative Team to plan and execute testing strategies across all channels. 

​

• Having a seat at the table with the Product Team to plan and execute site and funnel testing strategies, as well as advise on tracking, marketing analytics, etc.

My Work & Value

                                           can fit into marketing departments in different shapes and sizes, stemming from my experience. I helped build the growth marketing programs at Rent the Runway and BarkBox for the past 6.5 years, which allowed me to gain knowledge across almost all paid and organic channels. I also led teams of 3-12 folks, and was a key stakeholder in product, dev, and creative team decisions that drove customer acquisition. My channel expertise ranges from Facebook, to Affiliates, Paid Search, Display, Content-based ads, Influencers, Referral programs, email, direct mail, TV, etc.

I am best at diving in and optimizing individual channels based on my client’s goals, then allocating budgets and resources to improve CPA and increase overall spend. I have helped multiple clients over the past year scale total growth marketing budgets 2-3x with an improvement in CPA (with customer LTV remaining stable or improving). I often partner with in-house creative and dev/product teams to build the right experiences to help our channels perform. My experience is predominantly with DTC brands that drive the majority of their revenue online:
